JVPress Multimedia Theme Up and Running!

Well, I have had the JVPress Multimedia Theme now for just over two weeks and have had a lot of fun playing with all of the various elements. For a sneak peek at the design, layout and review visit my site

One of the first elements I changed was the layout. I went for the pre-launch wide. This will allow the highest quality video to play right on your site, and yet still give you a side bar for other elements that are important to your website. Like all Word Press Blogs you can drag and drop various widgets into the side bar to accommodate elements like RSS feeds with the current news on your topic, monetization methods with Adsense, Clickbank, Amazon or even Ebay.

But with JVPress Multimedia Theme you can also play smaller videos in the side bar. On my site you can see them in action with instructional videos on how to set up the menus for the multimedia theme and a sneak peak at the theme in action.  Additionally you can insert pictures with your affiliate links (again you can see them on my site.)


Changing the theme's color was extremely easy. You can use the color picker or if you have your own favorite html codes for colors you can just plug them into the screen and viola .. your theme has been changed. I really liked being able to change my header and personalize it by adding my own graphics, title and text variations.



You can also add revenue sources to your blog, again using the versatile widgets which lets you post code in the sidebar or in the under header area, in the footer and in the body of your post/page. I have not added this feature as I am concentrating on the theme itself, but I have added an RSS feed using the side bar widget.

For the socially connected it is incredibly easy to "like" your site on Facebook, or "share" the content from your blog onto the fastest growing social site on the internet.

In fact, I have not yet found anything I dislike about the theme, with the exception of the dropped text from one of my SEO plugins - this shows up on the main page on the top right.  I have not yet had a chance to write support to get this addressed, but everything else is a dream and I highly recommend it.
